Overview
Douglas County, MN has not adopted the MN State Building Codes.
However, except for incorporation limits of cities § 1D, the Douglas County, MN Zoning Ordinance § 7A requires a land-use permit be issued prior to erecting, installing, altering or remodeling any building, deck, patio or structure within the county An exception is given for normal maintenance which does not involve exterior structural changes to the building.
